Cannot change product key in Windows 7

Hi

My computer is saying that I don't have genuine Windows. If I go to computer properties the area Windows Activation is not being shown so I could change my product key, slui.exe also doesn't open. I run command prompt and type slmgr.vbs -ipk <product key> and neither that works. Is the OS not going to work anymore?

Your computer has a OEM-SLP version of Windows 7 Ultimate installed.  Due to the fact that several critical system files have been tampered with, you will not be able to change the product key.  You will need to reinstall your Windows 7 operating system using the recovery method recommended by your computer manufacturer.
