Xbox 360 refurbished having a warranty?

If you buy it from somewhere like Gamestop, it should have some sort of warranty on it. And if you want an extended warranty, you will have to buy it from the store itself.

But I would advise you to buy one brand new to avoid any hassle in the future, as you never know what condition the console is in, and if it has been banned or not.

Wouldnty the warranty cover console issues to where I can get a replacement? I would think there wouldnt be any bugs to begin with because theyre not suppose to sell bugged consoles, thus the refurbish, which should be like new.

Hello Rucifil, please make sure to read Gamestop's policy on this usually they offer a 90 day manufacturer's warranty with the consoles that you buy from them but make sure you check with them before you do so. But I would honestly do as SONIC SCREAM 07 said - it's always worth buying the new console as it's only $50 more and it gets you a full 1 year manufacturers warranty out of the box. You'd be surprised at Gamestops "refurbished console policy", just be careful. I highly suggest purchasing a new console.
