No More Rockband or Guitar Hero :(

I heard that Activision might revive the Guitar Hero franchise later in the future, I'm not sure about Rock Band so I can't tell, I have both Rock Band 1 and Guitar Hero III on my old Wii and the only music game I have on Xbox 360 is Lips. (Which they stopped releasing downloadable songs a few months)

Well, I don't think there will be a new RB game for a while since there really isn't enough stuff to but in to justify a whole new game. As long as people keep buying DLC, it will keep coming out. Guitar Hero on the other hand, Activision dug there own grave with that one.

Rock Band has called it quits? Hardly. Harmonix is still supporting Rock Band and plans on supporting it for a long time. It's far from dead.

There doesn't need to be any more disc based Rock Bands. Everything the game needs is already in the game.

There is no need for a whole new Rock Band 4 or whatever, as long as they keep on releasing DLC then i'm fine if they dont ever make another one lol.4

For me espeically I love metal, so all I play is my DLC i have about 50 songs downloaded already and it seems like they add lots of new stuff every time I check. Last thing I want is to have to pay 60 bucks for a new disc when I never even touch the setlist.

Rockband 3 setlist was crap imo. But the DLC is endless.

RockBand is still around, they are still adding DLC and the gear is widely available. You dont need to buy a music game every year.

Even if you stick to the retail RockBand discs you can get an pretty good library from RB1-2-Lego exports alone.

And here I was kind of hoping for a Kiss edition of Guitar Hero, or more Motley Crue songs for download in Warriors Of Rock.

I would give Rockband a try the RB Network has a huge selection of DLC over 10 times the size of GH Store.

Im pretty sure they have songs from the bands your looking for.

its about time, they kinda killed the games by milking it. maybe they should give it a few years before bringing it back, maybe as a launch title for the new xbox?

no its the end of weekly dlc, they will probably still have DLC, but still it's been a long time coming. also 2011.

Activision and Blizzard merged, so it's taking a bit, but I do believe another guitar hero will be out.

I want Diablo III on Xbox. (ot)
