dead rising 3 is crashing

This has been happening to me ever since the last update so I havent been able to play for over a week because of this issue and its starting to get extremely annoying..I hope they can patch it soon

You have to restart the chapter you are on. It sucks, but it's the only thing that worked for me.

I had this problem when I was reaching the garage near the start of the game, no matter what I did after about 1 minute after the game loading it'd crash to dashboard.

I did some research online, and it was recommended to uninstall/reinstall the game, but this is obviously annoying and time consuming so you may want to try restarting the chapter first, or try any other recommendations you have come across.

If you need to know how to uninstall a game, go in My games & apps, locate the game, click the menu button and select uninstall. The game will then install/download again as it did when you first put the game in your console.

I uninstalled and reinstalled but that didn't work. I restarted the xbox and that didn't work. I restarted the chapter I was on and that did work.

The game is broken. I have called Xbox and they told me to pull the power cable for 30sec or more. I was able to play longer, but it is still crashing.
