Another new alien species to be in ME3.

I know a lot of people my already know of this species through the Cerberus Daily News, but for those who don't - there called "Virtual Aliens". There background history is very interesting. Heres the link: http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Virtual_Alien. Enjoy. Tell me what you think.

I feel sad for those volunteers. I doubt the VAs would ever willingly give the bodies back once the original owner gets sick of the virtual world.

I doubt they are even mentioned at all in ME3. Reminds me of The Matrix, which reminds me of Ghost in The Shell.

Hopefully these aliens get a name and appear later on in the ME franchise, along with the Raloi.

Sounds like a job for Jacob.

I think it would be cool if there was a mission (side or main) where Shepard had to enter the virtual world for some reason (Enlist VA help against the reapers?) and it was this weird, trippy utopia world, maybe a world that is just TOO good that its sort of creepy (Like in Fable 2 where you inhabit your younger self and see your dead sister alive on the creepy farm). Then perhaps a VA who long ago grew sick of the VW but can't find a volunteer body steals Shepard's body and (s)he has to somehow get it back to stop the invasion.

I doubt that would be an issue, pierric. Who knows how long the VAs enjoyed the VW before they grew tired of it. I'm sure the volunteer's bodies will all be long dead by the time they tire of the VW..except maybe for some Asari and Krogan

Countless minds in one starship? Virtual aliens inhabiting bodies? Sounds Reaper-ish.

You could be on to something there Jelldernaut. It could be a Reaper trick to mind control the high ranks of the council's militaries etc etc.

If the link doesn't work (which it probably won't), just Google: "ghost ship" "cerberus daily news".

I'm trying the forums out on Safari instead of IE, and I guess it's not letting me insert links properly.

Sorry for the inconvenience, guys.
