AM I TOO OLD ?

Do what you do, if you got nothing else important to do at the time why stop?

Are seniors too old for shuffle board? Old folks go to retirement home and play games and if I become that old I would rather have XBL then bingo,shuffle board, keno and whatever other games they play.

I'm 34 and I look forward to kickin back a few beers and chuckin some grenades online. My wife doesn't exactly like it but I put my turtle beaches on so I can't hear her complain!

Really?! ... too old? I don't think so. I am 50 and I play almost every day or night when I have nothing better to do. It relaxes me too. My husband doesn't have a problem with me playing either. I know your wife will probably disagree with me, but I think it's okay as long as it relaxes you. I questioned about my playing too and thinking I am too old, but so many people, including people I know said that it's okay as long as it relaxes you and as long as I get my "chores" done. Way to go on multi player and an ale! Cheers to you buddy :)

Get a Wii for your wife, that'll make her a gamer!

I can't wait to be damn near 70 years old in line for Halo 35 or Battlefield 16! Freak them youngin's out!

I also love to have a drink, get a new pack of smokes and game all night. 

Usually start off with a half pint of Vodka with Mountain Dew as I game, taking smoke breaks and just enjoying my night. 

Literally I can find NOTHING else more relaxing than that. It's amazing! Especially with Halo: Reach!

I know many folks older than you that play video games.  Sorry to hear that your wife doesn't agree.  If you find it relaxing, I say go for it.

I look at it this way; games are a form of media, just like TV, music/radio, internet, etc.  And just like movies and now TV, even video games have had a ratings system for a long time now; They're for everybody.  It really all just depends on the age range and content, you're never too old.  When you look at what little gaming had to offer back in the 80s when Nintendo and Sega were the 2 biggest competitors, that whole "too old" bit might've been true, but technology only progresses forward and evolves, and so has the community.
