Random LIVE disconnects

 

Been having random disconnects all night. Sometimes it will stay up for 20-30 min., sometimes only 5. The 360 is about a month old and haven't had problems yet this whole month.

 

I tried rebooting the modem and the router, and even doing Restore to Factory Defaults on the Configure Network screen. This is where the weird part comes in. When I would scan for my wireless network, it wouldn't show up. Never had this problem before, so I manually added it and that worked just fine. It was just weird.

 

I started having this problem when I got a screen that my Gold membership would be running out soon and if I would like to turn automatic renewal on. Another screen popped up and before I could read it, it just went right back into my game and that's when I couldn't get Live to stay connected. Probably not related, but it was weird nevertheless.

Z: 0000 - 0000

What type of internet do you have? Cable/DSL/T1/3G?: Cable

Who is your ISP(Internet Service Provider)?: Comcast

When you run "Test Xbox LIVE connection" what is the exact message shown on screen? 

Test Status

Network: Connected

Internet: Connected

XBox LIVE: Connected

 

 

I'm hoping this is just something weird going on temporarily and that I'm just getting panicky for no reason. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I would suggest putting your console into the DMZ of the netgear and see if that clears up the issue
