Minecraft a Launch Title for PS4 but not Xbox One?!

I read on reddit that Minecraft will be a PS4 launch title can someone confirm or deny this for me? If it is true I'll be a little Pi$$ed off that it is not an Xbox One launch title.

I couldn't care less, Minecraft is as fun as watching paint dry.

actually i believe its a luanch title for both consoles bit suprised about it been on ps4

I think they'll be released at the same time on both consoles. With how much money minecraft made on 360, i'm sure microsoft would push mojang and 4J with a lot of money to make it come first if not at the same time as the PS4 release.

Notch did say he would like to see it on the PS4 but I didn't expect to be on it for a while

Yes it is an official launch release for PS4 as confirmed at gamescom by Sony, as to launch for x1, that remains to be seen, but judging by the gamescon i believe it to be ps4 first.

Oh and yeah, its for 5 year olds. Thats why by January of this year it had sold 20 million copies, a lot of games on either system get anywhere near that figure. But hey......

Not surprised it's on PS4 too, at the end of the day Minecraft started as an indie game, and had rightfully become a AAA title.

So naturally Mojang/4J will want to cash in as much as possible.

Why would being an indie game have made it go to the PS4 Xbox One is more indie friendly
