Okay, recently i have purchased a xbox 360 pro console from a nearby pawn shop.
Looks brand new... checked to see if warrenty was previously voided.
Has not been opened by previous owner because stickers and seals are fine.
Well when connecting to xbox-live i noticed that during the end of the connection that an error or notification poped up saying that this xbox has been console banned due to violations of terms of use and that microsoft doesn't provide specific details on why it got banned.
So, i called xbox support and long-story-short they told me to take the console back for a refund.
I do just that and it turns out that they wouldn't take the xbox system back which is very odd considering its a "pawn shop".
Stopped myself from becoming violent inside the shop because i was really ticked off but realized that it isn't worth goin back to jail again. lol
So now i have a system that is only usable offline... in which not to happy about.
My deepest consern is if Microsoft will 'unbann' my console for me since i clearly do not understand why or how the previous owner disobayed terms and it isn't my fault.
I know how to bypass the console bann because i am a 'tech nerd' and i have experience working with consoles and repair but i am not going to do that.
I am conserned wondering if Microsoft can do me a favor and unbann this one console for me and much will be very appreciated.
Please, reply back and share your thoughts. [Not sure if warrenty expired yet either]
