How to replace a Credit Card LIVE membership with a Prepaid LIVE Membership?

Hey everyone. I was curious on how to replace my current LIVE membership with a new membership. My current membership is a Month-to-Month auto renewal with a credit card. I would like to start getting membership with pre-paid cards. (Credit Cards are too much hassle.) So I was curious on how to replace my current membership with my soon-to-be new one. Do I just buy the pre-paid card and enter in the code? Will that replace it? Any respons is HIGHLY appreciated. Thanks. - Major Luck777

you can call xbox support and turn off autorenewal

when the membership is silver or not active on the creditcard (i suggest you wait till the account turns silver) then you can remove the creditcard

then you can use prepaid cards all you want after that

If you buy the PPC and add it to your account now, it will reactiviate the auto renewal when the PPC is up. What I suggest is that you call xbox cust support, and ask them to turn off the auto renewal. Then once the sub fully cancels out, remove your credit card, and then enter the PPC. Well if I cancel my auto renewal, won't it reset or stop my LIVE Gold Tenure on my profile?

Gold tenure doesn't reset. If you revert to silver it just remains the same and picks up again when you become gold.

Ok thanks. One more question. This isn't about my previous questions. When I download things off of Xbox.com Marketplace and add them to my download queue, when I go and check my download queue on my console it says, "Assigned to Another Console". I don't understand how this happened. Any help?
