LMGRD encountered a problem and has to close

Hi,

I have a Lenovo ThinkCentre with Windows XP Pro at the minute but it has been really slow and not performing well. One of the problems is everytime I boot it gives me the message, "LMGRD encountered a problem and has to close". What is LMGRD and how do I stop this error?

Hi Dave,

 

I would suggest you to uninstall ArcGIS from your computer completely and then check if the issue still persists.

Note: Perform this operation only if you’ve a backup copy of ArcGIS so that you can re-install it later.
