MSVCP90. dll is missing

I tried to open a file that I have installed on my computer. The disk installs everything that is on it. But when I try to open the research file I get this reply. "The procedure entry point ?_xfunc@tr1std@@YAXX could not be located in the dynamic link library MSV CP.dll."

I think that at one time i did have a malware virus. I had a PRO clean up my computer and since that time I cannot open that program. I have tried the uninstall/reinstall solution several times. That did not work.

Any help would be appreciated.
