Lenovo energy management software not working in windows 8 pro

I am using Windows 8 pro on lenovo ideapad Z570 lenovo energy mangagement software was incompatible with windows 8
 So i downloaded the windows 8 version of software from lenovo website
but when i installed it did not work properly now it is charging to 100 % whereas i limit the charging to 50% to save battery life.
 Any ideas how to install these software so that it works properly Thanks

As I understand, you are facing issues with incompatibility software.

I would suggest you to uninstall the software and install the software in compatibility mode.

Method:

Step 1:

Follow these steps to uninstall a program.

a)      Press Windows Key +W, type Uninstall a Program in search box.

b)      Select Uninstall a Program from the results.

c)       Right click on the software, click on Uninstall.

Step 2:

Follow the link and install the software in Compatibility mode. Check if it helps.

Make older programs compatible with this version of Windows
