Photoshop CS5 64 bit Error The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)

I have Photoshop CS5 downloaded from adobe (so it's not pirated) and the 64bit does not work. I can run the normal 32bit program just fine, but when I start Photoshop CS5 (64bit) it comes up with this error:

"The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application. "

I've looked around for solutions and some people have said to copy the "amtlib.dll" file from Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5 to Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 Bit). But this didn't work for me. If anyone could help me out it'd be great and thanks in advanced.

If the above fails then uninstall and reinstall the program and check if it works.

problem is amtlib.dll is differnet for 64bit vs the 32bit. If you copied the 32bit amtlib.dll into the cs5 64 bit program folder you created the problem.

no that's not the problem. I did that after the the error message above came up. After figuring out that you can't copy it from the 32bit folder, i replaced the original file. Still haven't found a solution though.

i have tryied a good version , a hacked version and a trial version of cs5 master suite and photoshop closes due to a problem with the program ... whats the deal ????

I would check with Adobe support as you may have some configuration that is not working for you.
