What is the meaning of the term "rearm count" ?

Hi,

I have genuine windows 7 professional 32 bit installed on my laptop. I recently received a pop-up message during start-up telling me that  the installed copy of windows is not genuine. I later executed the WGA  validation tool, and, it reported the status as genuine and activated. I have not  received the pop-up messages after that.  There is one line in the WGA report which says "remaining windows rearm count : 3". Does this mean that i can re-install and activate windows only 3 more times ?. Can some please explain this term ?.
Answer
Answer

It means you have up 3 more times to extend the activation grace period. Which means you can do without activating for 90 more days.

Click Start, type: cmd

Right click CMD then click Run as administrator

At the command prompt type: slmgr.vbs -rearm

You can do this 3 more times after which you will have activate the license.

Use this only when you are in situation where you are unable to activate immediately, such as no Internet or no telephone.

Best,
Andre
