Unable to install through USB Windows 7 using USB port 3.0

Original Title: Window 7 installation problem .
Dear all ,
I have laptop xps 15z from dell which is support only usb 3.0 port and i have made a bootable copy for win 7 on my usb driver and when i boot my laptop through my usb driver then i got this message while i install win 7 "A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now" i have asked many ppls about this issue and they say that the windows installer dose not support the usb 3.0 model .

please your help .

Hi,

As long as the correct drivers for USB 3.0 are installed, it will work fine in Windows 7

While installing Windows 7 when Windows is asking for driver, just click Cancel. You will be brought back to the welcome screen. At the welcome screen, remove your USB drive, insert it back to different USB port. Click ‘Install now again’. The installation process will be like usual.
