Problems downloading Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1703 for x64-based Systems (KB4041676)

I am trying to download the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1703 for x64-based Systems (KB4041676), its been at 23% all day.  I need it to finish downloading so I can update software for my job. It can only run on the windows with the latest updates installed. 

Anyone having a similar problem or does anyone know what I can do to get them to install?

You do not need it.

If you remove it use the Norton Uninstalling software as it gets rid if the extra code that is left if you just Programs & Features to uninstall.

After updating you may be alright to install it back.

Ask Norton if they have the drivers for your build.  And if they do make sure it install them.

i have the same problem but only for one of my pc, even manual download doesn't allow me to install this patch its just freaking annoying , i have tried manually download ALL patch prior to KB4041676 and install them manually, and this patch still refuse to be installed or download automatically. 

i have kaspersky internet security installed, even pausing it doesnt allow me to install update but on my other pc with similiar thing installed it was successful.

Same for me, I have 3 computers. And only the newest laptop is like this... I've tried it all but I'm not giving up yet.

Since this involves an Insider build your problem may be with Kaspersky.  Windows Installer does not like 3rd party anti virus that is not up to date.

Remove it using their Uninstalling software as this removes code the is not removed if you uninstall using Programs & Features in the Control Panel.

removed all antiviral its still in limbo, its windows's own stupid fault, im not the only one

It is not the responsibility for Microsoft to keep 3rd party software driver up to date.

As the Fall Creators Update is just being released to the market the 3rd party software builders may not have updated their drivers.

im talking about failed windows update limbo, that is by microsoft , i have no driver issues. my system are of latest hardware, 

more than 30 system from this user are effected the same night, so yeah it IS MICROSOFT'S fault , they even admitted it.

Dear Microsoft.. you  guys sucks big time.  Have you ever heard testing before publishing so called critical update. This freaking update caused my both computers to totally  useless. Had to install OS again for both in order to actually get my computers back up. Repair does not help, boot sector repair does not help, safe mode does not help.. cause it freaking destroys hard drive boot sectors and top on that changes bios settings.. well done you freaking monkeys... loads of data lost because of your incompetence.. remove this cumulative update KB4041676 immeadiately, as my windows 10 is still trying to update this by force and i have to uninstall this all the time now.. freaking amateurs.
