Windows update KB4464330

This update has hit several computers in our organization and it's causing them to all blue screen and prompts the user to perform a Windows repair. Performing a system restore from the day before seems to fix it for now.

We are using Windows 10 Pro and Windows 10 Enterprise.

We are having the same issues and at this point have 13 computers that have blue screened after this update. We have blocked updates for 30 days on the computer that haven't received this update yet. Hopefully when pending update resume they don't actually get this update install. This has mostly affected HP ProDesk 400 G5 SFF computers at this point but also a few others. This needs fixed now!

We are using HP ProDesk 450 G2, G3, 600 G3 and 800 G2/G3. One of the computers that got the blue screen had to be re-imaged. Also, the specific stop code we are receiving is WDF_Violation.

Also having the same issue with HP prodesk 400, currently have 5 machines stuck on BSOD unable to roll back changes, windows is unable to roll back or even restore back to factory settings.

I manage a call centre with 50 agents all using this machine type and i cant afford for this to take all the machines down!

WHATS GOING ON MS??!

edit: update, looking at reddit and spiceworks people are reporting renaming a drive file HpqKbFiltr.sys to HpqKbFiltr.sys_old  - however unable to locate this file on any machine which have the issue (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\HpqKbFiltr.sys)

I had this issue and we were able to fix it by booting with safe mode with command prompt, using diskpart to rename the driver causing the issue. HpqKbFiltr.sys

HpqKbFiltr.sys to HpqKbFiltr.sys_old worked for my 3 machines, however, depending on how you get to a command prompt, your actual "C" drive may show up as a different letter.  In my case, I had to change to my d drive before I could find the file to rename it.

I did not get bsod, but  I just read that many have gotten the audio driver problems for Realtek that reinstalling the driver will still not let windows recognize the hardware. Thus killing any use of sounds via today's update.
