We bought 2 computers with the exact same build except one had windows 10 home and the other Pro. I am adding these computers to a functional network made up of windows 7, 8 and 10 HOME computers. The new windows 10 home computer was added just fine.
The new windows 10 PRO computer can join the network, see other computer, access the internet and even share documents on the network but when it try's to access other computers shared folders it gets the "access denied" error. This computer only has windows ten pro installed on it, no security programs installed or other changes done to factory settings. There is no need for credentials or passwords on our network. our network is set up as a wired only network and IPs are static. (tried switching to auto IP/dns settings to test but no help). All other windows 10 computers are Home versions and were added to our network using the same methods without problems.
