Some time ago, on Windows 7, I created a Homegroup and had all our computers join that group.
Recently, I upgraded all computers to Windows 10. Now, when I go to Control Panel > Network and Internet > HomeGroup, I see "Greg on COMPUTER1 has created a homegroup on the network." and a Join Now button. I click Join Now and go through a short wizard to
share my stuff and am prompted for a password.
I have no idea what the password is, this was set up long ago. It says "You can get the password from Greg on COMPUTER1, or another member of the homegroup." I *AM* Greg, and I *AM* on Computer1. And I similarly haven't been able to get the password from another
computer that was on the homegroup either. It's like this is a completely different "Greg" account.
HELP! Is there a way to just reset the homegroup and start over?
Thanks!
Greg
