threed32.ocx missing problem-fail to load

Hi, 

I am using Win 8.1 64 bit. I recently tried to install a sortware, when it runs It says threed32.ocx is missing or not registered. Then I downloaded this file to System32 and run this command " regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\threed32.ocx" as so many forums suggested. Then a message pops up as threed32.ocx is failed to load.

How can I fix this problem

Make sure you are running the command from an "elevated" command prompt:

Windows key + S > type cmd.exe then right-click cmd.exe and choose "Run as adminstrator".

Then register the file (regsvr32 c:\windows\system32\threed32.ocx).

Yes, I ran it as admin, but failed to load message appeared. Are there these sort of files for 64 bit OS?

Try placing the threed32.ocx in the following folder:

C:\Windows\SysWOW64

Then register the file this way from an elevated command prompt pressing "Enter" after each line:

cd \windows\syswow64

regsvr32 threed32.ocx

I get this message:

El componente "THREED32.OCX" o uno de sus archivos dependientes no esta registrado correctamente: falta un archivo o no es válido

Already make the records in the folder "system32" and "syswow64" and I still appear the same
