Remove the message header in the reading pane

The ‘Hide header information’ was a known bug issue in Outlook 2010 and this option to hide has been removed in Outlook 2013 version.

You can send your feedback to the Office Customer Preview team regarding this by following the steps below:

1. Inside any new Office application you’ll see a yellow smiley face in the top-right corner. Click on the face and choose either Send a Smile to send positive feedback or Send a Frown to send negative feedback.

 2. In the window that appears, provide details about your feedback or issue. Also, be sure to provide a link to this thread.

3. Next, you can choose whether or not to send a screenshot. You can also enter your email address so the Office team can contact you directly if they have any questions.

Note: Most feedback requests do not result in responses from the Office team.

4. Click the Send button at the bottom of the form to send your feedback.

Then fix the bug and put it back in. 

This is such a vexing problem that no solution can be found therefore amputation is the path for this feature?

C'mon guys, lots of wasted space that I'd like to get back.  I like the product but this is a rather silly way to deal a bug that started in a previous version aka plenty of time to figure out the problem.

This is a big problem in Outlook 2013. I agree with others. I can't see the message itself because of the gigantic mail header in the reading pane. The first thing a mail client should do is to display the mail; this is just the opposite in Outlook 2013. I can only see a sentence or two because of this faulty design.

I concur 100%. I run Outlook on a 17" laptop and there simply is not enough screen space to support the reading pane anymore because the header information is so obnoxiously large. Even after removing the people picture feature. The reading pane is an essential feature for an e-mail client. I urge Microsoft to allow individual users to customize their experience. After a long weekend of trying to make Outlook 2013 meet my needs....I am rolling back to 2010. Doing a side by side comparison of the two....2013 is inferior.

Additionally, removing the To-Do bar was unwise. Blowing up the folder list to double the font size (and eating more screen space) didn't help the cause.

Deeply disappointed.

Let us remove the uneeded header info in the reading pane.

ohh=) I am too:) MS thinks that everyone works in WUXGA+...

Any one knows, how to decrease font size in folder tree? I am very tried of scrolling in new Outlook.
