Data Model Excel vs OpenOffice Calc

Hi, I wonder if a Data Model Excel file can work in Open Office Calc by unilateral linking or much better with reciprocal linking, meaning once I update one of the file (example in Excel), the update will be reflected in the other one (OO Calc). Cheers!

Dear StefanoBusanello,
Thanks for participating in the Microsoft Community. I'm an Independent Advisor and I'll help you.

In below support you could verify the process to linking data from Excel files to OpenOffice Calc, it is possible to get data and link from .xls files, but not really sure if in recent version of OpenOffice Calc, you can get from .xlsx files.
