What happens if I buy a bundle with items already own?

I was going to buy the Destiny - The Taken King Digital Edition to get all the Class Items and weapons but I also saw that this also comes with the game and the two DLCs, all of which I have. What would happen if I was to buy this edition? Would the DLC and Game be given to me as a code or would they be irrelevant as I wanted to send them to a friend.

If you purchase the game in Disc format you should receive the extras in the form of a code.  However, if you purchase a digital copy it will be added to your account and cannot be transferred.
