I just signed up for a one-year Gold plan for Xbox Live. I tried clicking on the Xbox LIVE button in Multiplayer mode and the message "The current profile is not allowed to play on Xbox LIVE" came up. I got this Xbox used and this was the first time I attempted Xbox LIVE with it. What can I do so I can be able to play Xbox LIVE on Black OPS, and what is the problem that I am experiencing?

If you bought the plan on the website then there's a delay between you buying it and your console being told that. Check also that you've bought the plan for the correct account.

Hey Slammanhaz! It looks like this GT does not have a Gold subscription tied to it, in order to play LIVE you'll have to purchase a subscription.
