Gamers who are over 50 or in their 40's

I'm 45, but I'm just not into online play. Not that I'm opposed to it, but the games I like are mainly either one player type games or have online components that just don't interest me. The only online games I've actually got into online were Phantasy Star Online on the Dreamcast & Test Drive Unlimited.

I play on the xbox 360. I don't have a gamer computer.

While I have a PC that is quite capable of gaming, I don't game on it. I prefer a console for that. I currently game on my 360, PS3 & Wii. Lately, I've been playing GT5 on the PS3 most of the time.

I'm in a gaming community of mainly older people that tries to have weekly online gaming sessions. In fact, a group is getting together next Tuesday for L4D2.  If you're interested, go to www.lousyatgaming.com (it's also linked in my signature).

My laptop would have a meltdown : ) I checked your games and the only one I have is Fable 2. I don't know online abilites for play are. I see most of your games are single player. Have you tried Fallout 3 or Bioshock? Great single play, but to me Bioshock is kind of like being in a horror movie ; )  I hope to find gamers who play L4D 1 & 2 to play VS, Survival, Scavenge without using glitches and who won't kick me. : )

but mostly play single player games, although I do enjoy the Gears of War series multiplayer, usually play with friends and the son-in-law, ....am looking forward to GOW 3

plus there is nothing like the feeling in multi when you are able to "own" your son-in-law....LOL

Of course, my stepdad has an XBox and he's in his 40's. He used to play Black Ops but doesn't play online much anymore. xD

Chicken on a chain will here shortly. He's an avid gamer, and a senior citizen. Today is my 31st Birthday. So I don't really meet your specific age criteria, however I can relate to constantly being subjected to gamers who are much younger than myself. The best advice I can give is, don't even bother putting on your headset unless you are in a private party. You'll save yourself many headaches that way.
