Deal breaker for me

I have never had too many problems with lag, have you ever considered it might be your connection?

I have to agree with Waffle. I've been playing the past few nights and don't really notice any. If I do, just search for a different map and there you go.

It has nothing to do with our connections. I was still getting the same kind of lag when house-sitting for my parents so I know it wasn't my connection. This has been going on for at least the last month and is really getting frustrating. It's getting rare to even be put in to a server on home soil anymore. I've on the east coast and have been playing with people as far away as Japan and New Zealand so it's probably a world wide thing going on. Really hope this issue gets fixed soon or there's going to be a lot of people not playing this game anymore.

I dont think its my connection either since Ive not ALWAYS had issues, just recently. And its very inconsistent. If it was me, seems it was be an all the time thing.

Could be them getting ready for the beta and trying to improve the time when BF3 is released and you're just getting caught up in the bad end of it. Just a guess.

DICE & EA are down sizing their severs to make way for BF3 and the Beta due in Sep, that's the reason why there is a lot more lag then usual and not being able to access stats.

I had lag here and there when am in the chooper.and sometimes on the ground but lag is not all that bad.BF3 is going to be great you should not pass on BF3 the servers will be good to go.maybe the first week of BF3 there will be bugs and lag just like in BFBC2.but it got fix right away.stay with us ll Hooch ll

Think I have more problems with xbox.com here on the forums and friends list page loading up then the actual game servers.

Actually yesterday I did get dash boarded.  But it was end of the game we had less then ten tickets on the final crate and we had hard time getting it.  Blueberries weren't helping much and we had a 3 man squad. So if we didn't do it it wouldn't happen.  Just like when we played attackers think we got 95% of the crates.  But dinner was ready and I heard the guys say we just lost.  Then i'm like yeah dinner getting cold later guys.  lol  Was great night of gaming until that last map.

If they are downsizing the servers, that sucks... this is the last great shooter available until BF3 comes out. Why make the loyal fans suffer? Thats just not cool.
