They aren't going to do anything with Call of Duty 4 anymore, has the hacking spree got Cod4 as well? What a surprise that the only games getting rampantly hacked these days are all these Cod4 clones....

And I doubt anything will be address on World at War as well for a long while. Modern Warfare 2? Maybe, WaW is streching it and Cod4 is out of the question,

You need to be careful when you buy old MP games.  Some of them aren't supported anymore, and some of them are complete ghost towns.  I know it sucks but that's the nature of the beast.  Activision and IW split apart and had civil issues.  That's the main reason you won't see support for MW/MW2.

Well, keep on filing those complaints if you wanna get anywhere.

It's Pretty obvious Activision does not care.

Its usually like this with MP games that aren't so popular anymore.

They are either completely dominated by veterans or modders playing for fun. Last game I played in CoD4 was a modded lobby. Really had a blast.

why would they bother updating a game thats old .. its like putting out a patch for cod2 .. which is now officially dead until 5pm ..

they dont need to get an update out at all...it'd be nice but they dont need to !

The sales have been made. Very little, if anything at all, will be done. Complaints or no.  Its as simple as that. I agree that Activision doesn't care and think its an outrage that you cant play a game you have paid for without it being ruined. That's COD for you. I appreciate COD4 MW for the fact it got the attention of quite a few of my friends and got them gaming but that's it. There are much better offerings out there.

Trouble is no one is going to learn there lesson and stop buying Call of Crappy games.

The 360 is still being sold as is this game . For them not to support it is a slap in the face .

Its not Microsoft's responsibility to patch a game, legally they wouldn't be able to anyway since the game is considered intellectual property.

If you want treatment like this to stop, stop supporting the franchise. The exact same thing is going to happen to black ops when WM3 is released.
