Anyone solo the zombie easter egg?

You should just try to beat it with a friend in splitscreen, OP. 2 cheevs in 1.

I kept getting to the final step just about every time I was trying it solo, but the box never rolled the vr-11 for me. One night , with 3 total randoms, we got good box rolls and I wasn't the only one who knew the steps... Nailed it and got both cheevs.

Invite a friend over and double your chances of good box rolls. That and know the steps.

^^ Yea, the vid I watched on the Dash said that if I didnt get the vr-11 by the 5th round, I should start over...Im pretty clear on the steps. My thing is just the best way to go about doing things. Whether I should hoard cash and try to blaze everything in one shot, or do things round by round. Money is always the issue it seems.

It is best to do it co-op because you get both solo and co-op cheevos when you do that. Although it can be a pain if one person in your party doesn't have a clue what you're doing.

@noxious...which I part of why Im going solo on it. That and the god awful matchmaking in this mode which has kept me from doing any zombies before this. Pair that with the chance that when a match ACTUALLY starts, chances are the people im with are tards...co op isnt the best way to get it done for me.

I understand, it is extremely tough to get a good random partner. Follow what the video said and wait until you get the vr-11 right away. After that just save up tons of cash and do it all at the end of one round.

do you still get the achievement if the co-op partner is down at the time? wondering if you could split screen and just let the one die

I did the easter egg solo and my advice is don't waste quick revive because you will need it big time on solo and try to open stuff around 4-5 so the zombies aren't so hard to make crawlers and then after you get the last part of the easter egg save your money for the box so you have a good chance on getting the VR-11 and a good weapon oh and also buy juggernog and speed cola to help you also the final part is a pain but with a crap load of crawlers with you you should be able to do it.
