Star Wars Xbox 360 wifi connection problems

I got the R2-D2 Xbox when it first came out. I love the thing to death. Even named the Harddrive Artoo. Recently, I've been moving a lot. I've moved once every month this year so far. Last place I was at was back at my parents' house. My girlfriend and I moved into her mom's house a few days ago. While we were staying my my parents, my girlfriend and I would visit at her mom's for the weekend, and I would bring my Xbox with. I would have no problem connecting to their wifi. Now, however, I cannot connect to the wifi here, with my Xbox. It isn't really giving me any error codes or anything. I've got the password in correctly, but it won't sync to the router. I'm really not sure what's wrong with Artoo. Could the moving have anything to do with it?

Probably.

What's the make and model of the router, and the current service provider?

Greetings Spetre!
Start by reset your R2 unit's network settings to factory defaults. To do so:

  1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
  2. Select Network Settings.
  3. Select Wired Network or the name of your wireless network, if you are prompted to do so.
  4. Select Configure Network.
  5. On the Additional Settings tab, select Restore to Factory Defaults.
  6. Restart your R2 unit.

You may also want to restart your network equipment (modem and router). Power off your modem and router for a couple of minutes. Turn on your modem and wait one minute for it to connect properly. Turn on your router and wait another minute.

Post back and let us know how it goes.
The impossible just takes a little longer
