Problem with Samsung SyncMaster 2333HD

Hi,

i have some graphic issues with my XBOX (slim model) and my monitor. I have connected the console with an HDMI cable (not the original one, but it's a good one), but the graphics is bad. Both when i play a game, like GoW 2, and when i am in the dashboard, i don't have a 1900x1080p resolution, it's like... 800x600! Very very ugly :(

Looking at the console settings, it's all ok: 1080p resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. It detects the monitor capabilities. I have tried playing around with all the resolution settings on the console and the monitor, but with no results. I have searched on internet, tried everything, but nothing. I tried both of the HDMI ports on my monitor, thinking one of them was flawed, but nothing, it's the same.

I use the monitor also with my computer, with a DVI cable, and it's all ok, i have a full HD resolution (Crysis 2 is wonderfull). I use it with a Western Digital Live TV (multimedia box), and a i have a full hd resolution.

What can i do?

Hey there Guido! :) Typically when this happens the issue is with an incorrect setting on the monitor, or a bad cable or input. Could you look at the monitor settings and see if there is anything that can be adjusted or reset to default? If not, try a new cable or a different input. :)
