My gamerpic won't update

You may just need to give it time to update but also try this just to make sure....

1. Push the guide button (Sliver button in the middle of the controller)

2. Move over all the way to the right and push A on "Profile".

3. Then push A on "Edit Profile"

4. Find the tab to change your gamer pic and push A

5. Make sure your "Public" and "Private" Gamer pic are the same picture.

If both are the same then just give your new pic time to update. If not, just change each picture to the same one.

Hope that is not too complex for you. I tried to make it sound as simple as I can.

I am having the same problem... I use my PC to change my Gamerpic, any ideas???

I had a similar problem. I could see my gamerpic just fine but all my friends see one from 6 months ago that I don't even have anymore! I called someone at xbox and it isn't a problem they have a quick solution for. The tech support agent I spoke with was very helpful and trying to figure it out. We eventually came to the conclusion that you need to clear your xbox memory cache. Go to the System Settings tab>Memory. Now, roll over to your hard drive and click Y to go to DEVICE OPTIONS.  From there, select CLEAR SYSTEM CACHE. That should update it for you. This is still a problem Microsoft needs to fix since people arent going to do this regularly just to see my updated gamerpic which means they will see my old one that sucks. Anyways, hope this helps.

How long did you wait? Gamerpics are not distributed to everyone's console immediately. Sometimes it takes a while.

I waited for about 2 months... And my console is out of reach right now. This XBXL is quite new, do you guys think that is why. I can't remember wether I have linked up my acount to my XBOX yet.

"An Xbox Dude", you are having this problem too without knowing.

In your sig, it shows your gamerpic where when I look at your profile on Xbox.com... it shows a blank gamerpic.

I'm actually not seeing that - I can see his gamerpic fine in both locations. Did you try his suggestion?

I tried everything in the book, i tried what "an xbox dude" said, i even cleared my cache, turned off my xbox, just pretty much everything... i can see it on my xbox,com account, and my own profile on xbox live, but my friends, even people i never met STILL see my old gamer picture that is no longer saved in my account. Im somewhat disappointed... the day im finally excited to show off my new gamer picture is the day i cant even do it >.<
