Issue with Xbox 360 Star Wars Edition

We are on our third console which is having the same problem. The system ejects the disc with any loud noise (I.e. clapping, dogs barking, bass in game play, etc.). The console can off and will power on and open the disc tray. We have called Microsoft support several times as well as exchanged the console. We moved it around the entertainment center. Help! As off right now the Xbox has to be unplugged when not in use or played with the sound turned all the way down.

Hello Wildroads! This is certainly an odd issue. Does this occur if Kinect is disconnected? Also, what region are you from? Is there a lot of humidity? Can you send me a picture of your setup? I would be interested to see the configuration of the console in your entertainment center. Thanks! :)

It occurs when the kinect is disconnected and after doing a reset with the kinect disconnected.  We are in Wisconsin and is rather dry this time of year.    Our previous Kinect on the old Xbox 360 worked just fine.

Unfortunately this sounds like a hardware fault then. We would recommend either exchanging for a new console with your retailer, or sending it in for repair: myservice.xbox.com/.../Welcome.aspx . Sorry I don't have better news!

My console just decided to stop reading skyrim this is my second stalwarts console because the first one kept going to a black screen and now this

I have a Xbox 360 star wars edition and the hard drive just up and stopped working. Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas on what I can do with it?
