Ok, so I just got myself a HDMI cable for xbox 360, but every time I connect it to my TV and such and go to the HDMI source, it just says "mode not supported".
My TV is a 19" Samsung if that helps.
And my xbox 360 is the arcade version.

What video mode do you have selected on the console under System Settings>Display?

I have come across this problem once or twice when trying to connect my own xbox to my samsung. it seems to be an issue with the config........ there's a few ways you can try, lower the resolution of the 360 in settings, display, hd settings and lower it to something like 720 or less to see if that works, if not try do the same for the tv...... after you have it up on screen in a lower resolution then you should be able to bump it back up.......
