Can't obtain an IP address from my router

I've tried all the suggestions on the Xbox website in order to fix this problem but I keep getting this message when I try to connect to Xbox Live. I get a green light on my wireless adapter and I am able to see all the available networks but I am unable to connect with any of them because my xbox can not obtain an IP address.
