Can't Log in

 

I was trying to log on to my xbox Live-account but Windows Live said that my ID was expired and demanded to change it. I used to use gmail, but it wanted me to change it to Live. I did as it told, and rhen tried loggin into my xbox account again. It created me this new account and now I can't get back to my old one. I still can log in trough my xbox, but it doesn't let me change any of my information. I don't want this account, I want my old one, any advice?

To change your Windows Live ID

  1. On your Xbox 360 console, sign in using your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
  2. Go to My Xbox, and select your avatar.
  3. In the Account Management panel, select Manage Account.
  4. In the Your Information panel, select Windows Live ID.
  5. Select Change Windows Live ID.
  6. If you have another Windows Live ID, select Yes, I do.

    If you do not have another Windows Live ID, go to login.live.com to sign up for a Windows Live account.

    Note     Your Microsoft Points balance will automatically be transferred to the new Windows Live ID.
  7. Enter the password for the Windows Live ID that is currently associated with your gamertag, and then select Sign in.
  8. Enter the email address and the password for the new Windows Live ID that you want to associate with your gamertag, and then select Sign in.
  9. Select Yes, change to change the Windows Live ID associated with your Xbox LIVE account.
  10. Select Update Contact Information to update your contact information or select Done to finish

You said it wont let you edit any information. but see if this works. If it does not what error message do you get?
