My HP Windows 8 Laptop won't start up

I've had this laptop for a not even a year now. I have an HP G7-2275dx Windows 8 laptop. One day it had installed some updates, and shut down. When I tried to start it back up again, it didn't start up. When I press the power button, the WiFi button light blinks. When the laptop is hooked up to the wall, the light indicating that it is charging comes on, and stays on. I am thinking this is a hardware issue, but you can't work on Laptop's because of how compact it is and how the case is set up. Is there a solution to this?
