Error during configuration of Hyper-V external virtual switch using Wi-Fi network adapter

Hello,

During configuration of Hyper-V Virtual Switch (type external) on Windows 8 Pro I get an error "Error applying Virtual Switch Properties changes // Failed while adding virtual Ethernet switch connections" after setting Virtual Switch parameters (checked "External network", checked "Allow management...") and pressing Apply button.

The external Virtual Switch I am trying to create using my Intel Centrino Wireless-N network adapter. Actually just after the error occurs the Network Bridge network adapter is created in my computer and my Wi-Fi network adapter status changes into enabled and bridged. Now my computer by default successfully connects to Network Bridge network adapter instead of Wi-Fi network adapter but unfortunately an external Virtual Switch in Hyper-V Virtual Switch Manager is not created so I cannot use it in my VM's.

Any help is very appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Donatas
