Can I turn off auto word selection in WordPad?

Hi Compupix,
1. Does this happen only in WordPad where you cannot select the words you want to change?
2. Have you tried changing the sensitivity of the mouse with Control Panel?
3. Have you tried a different mouse?
I would suggest you to use the arrow keys present on the keyboard and check if this helps.
Also the option you are referring to is not present any more in the WordPad. But we do appreciate your feedback for our product. You
may report your suggestion at the feedback website to make Windows better;

Have you tried using the keyboard arrow keys?
