ProfSvc - User Profile Service uses 100% of CPU Windows 7 x64

Hi I have been unable to use my laptop all weekend as when it logs on the ProfSvc component of svchost.exe(netsvcs) is using all of the available cpu...  My laptop has now been running for an hour and its going no where....

Can anyone please help... I can see there was a fault with the ProfSvc in Windows 2008 and Vista and a hotfix was issued could this be the same fault for Windows 7
