How do I edit Startup file in Win 7??

1.     Are you trying to edit the startup items or disable?

2.     Are you facing any issue with Windows 7 operating system?

 

You can change the startup programs using system configuration (msconfig).

Follow these steps:


a. Go to start and type in msconfig in the search box and press enter.
b. If prompted, click on Continue for the UAC prompt, or type in the administrator's password.
c. Click on the Startup tab.
d. To disable a startup program, select a listed startup program and uncheck it.
e. Repeat to disable anymore listed startup programs.
f. Click on Apply and OK.
g. Click on the Restart button to apply.
