xcopy fonts from a folder to a W7 system

I am trying to copy *.ttf fonts into the %systemroot%\fonts folder on a W7 system through terminal (xcopy).

The file is physically copied but can not be seen anywhere (Fonts-Viewer,...)

No fonts are hidden through language settings

any help is appreciated

Thanks - fully aware where they are supposed to go... but they don't show up!


 You say that, but what you posted in your OP isn't going to do that.  If you're copying over a network, as I gather from what you've said about student's machines, you need to change from %systemroot%, which is on YOUR computer to the student's computer network addresses.  If that's not what you're trying to do, you need to clarify what it is that you're attempting.  Obviously if you copy to YOUR font's folder, that's not going to put it in the STUDENT's folder.
