How to retain a clipboard for multiple items copied?

There are certain times when I want to copy and paste more than one item over and over again.  Right now, I can (CTRL + v) to copy and paste 1 item, but I want to build a macro where I can copy-and-paste multiple items in without having to "lose" my original item that I'm pasting ...
