Windows 10 Photos App not seeing photos in Dropbox Folder

I have been using Windows 10 for a few months and have always had my Dropbox photos folder (D:\<username>\Dropbox\Photos) set up as a source folder in the Photos App and it worked beautifully. However, at some point within the past week or sp this has stopped working entirely. I can still see photos in other locations like D:\<username>\Pictures as well as pictures in my OneDrive, but for whatever reason the Photos App no longer recognizes files in the D:\<username>\Dropbox directory or any sub-directories there in. It just says (translating, so I don't know the original English) "Cannot find any readable photos, videos, or folders." How can I fix this? Is this a bug?

Thank you for replying.

I tried using the troubleshooter but it said that it could not find any problem.

I then attempted the steps given in the FAQ you linked to, but I still cannot see the photos in my Dropbox folder in the Photos app. They are in my Windows Picture Library and show up in File Explorer just fine, but the Photos app doesn't recognize them.

So I guess there is nothing else support can do to help me? It would be nice to at least get a reply to that effect.

I'm having the same problem.  Windows 10 Photos App doesn't find and photos in the Dropbox Camera Uploads folder.  Anyone else?

Yes, I just realized the same thing is happening to me.  Not sure if it just started or not, but I suspect it did.
