Although Phillip's general suggestion to confirm & address why MERP is being triggered [assuming it is] is valid, the program
can be disabled.
Quit all Microsoft apps
Go to HD:Library:Application Support:Microsoft:MERP2.0
Launch Microsoft Error Reporting.app
Go to Microsoft Error Reporting in the Menu Bar
Select Preferences
Clear the check box
Quit MERP
Note: No offense, but unless you have a valid technically based reason for doing so, it isn't recommended that this be done. When there are no problems with the operation of the system/software, MERP running in the background should not be an issue.
If it is an issue the info it tracks can be instrumental in correcting the problems more effectively.
