I have no access to my own organization in Microsoft Teams

I tried to sign up for a free microsoft teams account using my existing microsoft account. On the organization setup page, I filled up all the required fields and clicked "Next". A loading message appears instructing me to wait and do not refresh the page. After a minute, the system responded with an error. I tried to sign up again but it already says that I already have a microsoft teams account and proceed to log in. On the login page, the organization I created earlier now appears on the selection box. I selected it and proceeded however it says that I do not have access to the organization and contact my admin. How do I fix this? I cannot create another organization since it says that I already have a Microsoft Teams account.

Thanks

Hi ReegeneHoylar,

May I confirm did you sign up Teams from the the wesbite "Get Microsoft Teams for free" by your Microsoft Account (@outlook.com)? Please provide a screenshot of te error "it says that I do not have access to the organization and contact my admin".

Meanwhile, may I know what error did you get after "filled up all the required fields and clicked Next"?

You may try to use another browser and another Microsoft account to sign up the free Teams to give it a shot.

Regards,

Hans

Hello Hans,

I signed up here Microsoft Teams - Group Chat Software using my Microsoft Account (@hotmail.com).

Here is the screenshot of the login error.

Unfortunately, I was not able to make a screenshot of the error after filling up my organization details.

I tried to sign up using the link you provided and got this error.

I tried the other browsers and they all have the same message.

Thanks,

Gene

Hi Gene,

May I know are the hotmail account the owner of the org "Four Horsemem", or it is a guest?

Please let the org owner or another account could access this org check if the hotmail account has been removed from org or the org disable the guest permission.

If you just create the org, please check if you could create a new Teams with another Microsoft account.

Regards,

Hans

Are you even reading my posts? I thought I already made myself clear.

Anyways, to reiterate, I created the "Four Horsemen " organization using my @hotmail email account  but on reasons unbeknownst to me, an error occurred while Microsoft Teams is initializing the organization. After the error, I tried to create a new organization but failed due to Microsoft Teams has detected that I already have an existing organization. So I signed in instead, but the error I mentioned on my original post showed. The error message tells me that I am not the owner of the organization "Four Horsemen" that I have just created.

And of course, I can create a new organization using another Microsoft Account. But I don't want to maintain a lot of accounts. Anyways, if there is no other ways for my account to recreate an organization, I will just ask a friend to create it for me. It's just sad that I cannot create an organization of my own.

Thanks,

Gene
