problem save an excel file to a text tab delimited file for unix no problem at all in window
what is the difference between excel mac an window if i save as .txt tab a excel file in mac to a unix server dont work but working with open office or window quotes looks like the problem
I think for anyone to really be able to help you we will need a bit more information and details.
As far as the difference in the way Excel 2011 vs Excel 2010 saves or formats a tab-delimited (.txt) file...I do not know. But I would imagine there might be some subtle differences since we are talking about Windows vs Mac OS.
I am sure another community member or MVP will be able to help you out once more details are provided.
