Units makes no sounds in Halo wars?

Hi! I just bought Halo wars from Gamestop and I have a problem. Units makes no sound when i press or order them, i cannot hear explosions or hear when the commanders speak to you in the campaign. Wth?

Did you update the game?

If so, did you try installing your game on your xbox, or are there any cratches on the disc?

Things to try :

Installing the game.

If you are using surround sound make sure your centre speaker is working properly.

Check the xboxes audio settings and make sure it is set to stereo if you don't have surround sound.

Clearing the Hard drive cache (google 'xbox 360 clear cache' if you don't know how to do this)

This is a very old post but I know the answer if anyone else is looking. When you play Halo Wars for a long period of time. Like 4 consecutive hours, the sound gets messed up. Just restart your xbox and its fixed. Playing Halo Wars for hours strait does this.
