Crysis 2 Freezing Issues

Purchased Crysis 2 yesterday and I'm having issues with it while trying to play multiplayer. It will work for a match or two, then I will start noticing multi-colored pixelated textures around me as if the textures are not loading properly (similiar to this guy on Bad Company 2, best example I could find: http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/436963.page) At first it will only be a few textures, but then it will start to appear on everything. A few minutes after this happens it will either freeze in-game or freeze after the game is over (once it has faded to black). I can't get the dashboard to respond, so the only way is to restart the game.

Never had issues like this with a game before. All other games work just fine on my Xbox. It's an older model Pro from around 2006.

And yes, the game has been installed to hard drive.

Any suggestions?

It sounds like the console may be overheating. Is it in an open, well-ventilated space? If not, try clearing some room around the console, or move it to a new spot. Also, check that the fans are working and aren't burdened with dust. You may want to use a can of air to try clearing out some of the dust from the console.
