if it is NOT the correct region you must create a new account in the correct region

if confirmed its is UK reset your router and modem also i'd check with your friends what account setting is set at

the blackops mappacks are region locked due to international laws and distibution rights

you must download the correct regional content

My region setting is United Kingdom and all the information is 100% spot on but I still get the error it must be something on your part, because I am in the uk and so our all the other accounts.

Also I already have the First strike map pack which works fine.

if you have  VOIP gateway contact your ISP for info on how to do a modem reset

power off your modem and router for 5mins (unless its a voip gateway then you need to contact your isp as you have to be real careful because a hard reset can lead to bricking the modem)

then turn them on

I think its damn right, bad form for Microsoft. I have tried everything, why should we have to use VPN just download our favourite map pack.

I believe this issue needs to be resolved cause I am not the only one with these problems.
